About Anna

My name is Anna Camille Toms, and I am from Shreveport, Louisiana. I attended C.E. Byrd High School and was involved in many extracurriculars there. I was a cheerleader all four years as well as playing golf. I was involved in Key Club, Astra Club, Youth and Government, Student Council, and many others. I graduated from Byrd with a 4.7 GPA.  

There are many different hobbies that I like to do outside of school. I love to exercise, read, take pictures and work on social media feeds, and hang out with friends. One of my favorite hobbies is getting to play golf with my dad when he comes to town to visit. I also absolutely love LSU sports and attend different sporting events frequently. My family loves to travel as well, and I think traveling the world is such an important, eye-opening experience.  

My major at LSU is Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. My minors are Sports Studies and Business Administration. Growing up with my father as a professional athlete has created a deep love and passion for the sports industry. It has given me a lot of industry knowledge. My dream job is to be an athletic director for a big university. I am also interested in sports marketing and NIL deals.

  • I have always thought of myself as someone who is able to easily and effectively communicate with those around me. I am not afraid of meeting and talking to new people.

  • I have used my creativity throughout my life through art, photography, fashion, and social meda. I also like to think of new ideas and ways to improve things around me.

  • I believe being reliable is one of my best traits. I am a reliable person because I have great organization skills and time management. I commit to doing everything that I do to the best of my ability.

  • I routinely check the news for up to date sports scores, information, and news. I also have been around the industry my entire life, having a professional athlete as my father. This gives me the ability to provide valuable insight and experiences when working in this industry.
